Rubi with Santa
Bos, Brek and Rubi waiting to see Santa.

And believe me I will remember for a long time how happy I was to hear the Dr tell me today that she is "putting me on the books" for Sunday. I know in an earlier post I questioned what the point would be to be induced on the 2nd when I'm due on the 5th anyway, but I've changed my mind. The baby doesn't know what day it is and I truly think that if it were up to him I would still be pregnant on Christmas! Just think... I will be the mother of a beautiful baby boy come Monday! Wow!!!!!!!

It has been one week since we took Rubi's beloved "Pami" away. We had been telling her it was "Yucky" so in the last weeks she had been lovingly referring to it as "Yucky Pami" - not the outcome we had been looking for. In the end we just had to take the leap and cut all the ends and throw them away. I wanted to cry just as badly as she did but we all made it through relatively unharmed. Once in awhile Rubi still asks for Pami but I remind her that we don't need Pami anymore and she says, "Pami broken. In trash." Breaks my heart - my little girl is growing up.
